Dennis Cyr

Dennis Cyr

2005-Present

Dennis R Cyr retired from the IRS in 2004 after almost 34 years of service. He is currently a tax practitioner in Denver Colorado. Mr. Cyr began his career as a Revenue Agent in the Manhattan District and worked overseas for the Office of International Operations. He began his management career in the IRS National Office and held several positions including Computer Audit Specialist Manager in the Los Angeles District. He served as a tax shelter Branch Manager in the Laguna Niguel District and Chief Examination Division in the Denver District. Mr. Cyr also held other top level positions as Executive for Compliance 2000 in the Southwest Region and Chief Small Business Research in Denver. Mr. Cyr received numerous performance awards during his career and was honored with the Hammer Award for his Leadership of a project that improved tax compliance of State and Local Government through the use of innovative non enforcement techniques. He has authored a Revenue Procedure and two research papers for the IRS Research Bulletin.

Mr. Cyr is a graduate of Boston College and completed IRS training courses in computer auditing and quality process analysis at the North Texas State University and the University of Tennessee Quality Institute. He currently serves on non profit boards for 1311 York Street, Children’s Charities of America, and Community Education Outreach.

Seth Green

Seth Ford

2010-Present

After graduating from Colorado College in 2001, Seth Ford moved to Alaska where he served as a contract community relations specialist, writing everything from newsletters to radio promotions targeting the interests of the North Slope Borough’s mostly Inupiat (Eskimo) population. Moving back to Colorado in 2002, he went to work for his father and helped establish the public affairs firm of Ford Sovine & Ford. Primarily representing small business interests, he used the power of the pen to help defeat or pass legislation on behalf of pharmacists, small cities, water interests, private childcare providers, mental health providers and towers.

In 2005, Seth went back to school for an MA in Public Communication and focused his studies at American University in online advocacy. After graduating, he returned to rural Alaska where he ran an economic and workforce development program at the local community college& forming strong partnerships with local governments and teaching courses in customer service, social media marketing and e-commerce to career-transitioning adults and youth. He has a long background in educational outreach through both new and traditional media.

Returning to Colorado again in 2008, Ford worked as Advocacy Manager for Housing Colorado before establishing his own business in social advocacy consulting.

Joseph Mathews

2010-Present

Joseph Mathews is a Government Relations Director, handling legislative advocacy and government contracts. He has done volunteer work for Jobs with Justice and Lawyers for the Creative Arts.

Antony Nolan

Antony Nolan

2011-Present

Antony Nolan is a newly minted board member who began working with CEO in mid-2007 as a volunteer IT person after answering CEO’s ad for volunteer IT support. Antony performs all maintenance, trouble-shooting, repair, and networking services for the computer lab and staff office computers. Antony comes to CEO from Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is a graduate from Adams State College in Alamosa Colorado where he earned degrees in Management of Information systems and Management. He works full time as a IT systems administrator for a local company.

Brendan Matthias

Brendan Matthias

2011-Present

Brendan is a Denver native that stayed close to home after graduating in 2002 from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Information Systems and Management. Brendan returned to school and graduated from the University of Denver in 2009 with his Masters of Business Administration. He has been in the banking industry for eight years and currently is a Vice President with FirstBank.
