High School Equivalency Preparation
CEO provides class instruction and individual tutoring to assist students in preparing for and obtaining their high school equivalency diplomas. CEO provides instruction in the areas of reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
CEO provides TASC High School Equivalency testing at several program locations. CEO administers the paper version of the test which includes 5 subtests in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
Strengthening Knowledge in Literacy
and Life Skills
The SKILLS program provides fundamental skills and workplace instruction in literacy and numeracy. Students in the SKILLS program have already obtained their diploma or HSE, and are brushing up on their workplace ready skills.
Help, Information, Resources for Employment
HIRE is a work readiness program designed to prepare students for job search. This program includes resume and cover letter building, practice interviewing, computer workshops, and soft skills training.
CEO's Career Navigation program assists students in exploring their interests and strengths to set them on a career path and help advance employment. Students are guided through goal setting and explore training opportunities.
Read to Me
Read to Me is a program designed to help CEO's community corrections students reconnect with their children through literacy. Students read a children's book on camera, and the book is sent to the child with a dvd of their parent reading.
